Insurance

Most of the services at LifeBalance Counseling are covered by insurance. We have providers in network with:

  • Aetna

  • Anthem

  • Blue Cross

  • United

  • Optum Behavioral Health

  • Cigna

  • Martins Point

***We do accept some local EAP programs. Ask an intake coordinator about these if you have them.

Please note that insurance coverage may change, be canceled, or contain errors that result in sessions not being covered or payments being retracted. In such cases, clients are responsible for the full cost of the appointment. If you have any questions, please contact our intake team.

Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, services can be covered in full or in part. Contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.

We recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

  • Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?

  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it, and have I met it yet?

  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?

  • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician for services to be covered?

Payment

We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards as forms of payment. We require all clients to have a valid credit card on file to cover fees for services, appointment cancellations, no-shows, deductibles, and any costs incurred when insurance denies coverage for appointments.

Cancellation Policy/Late Arrival

We have a strict Late Cancellation/Arrival policy to ensure that all clients get the best care possible and the full amount of time and attention from their provider they deserve.

If you are unable to attend a session, please cancel at least 48 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session to the card we require on file.

We have a strict arrival policy to ensure clients before and after you get the same care as you do.  If you are more than 10 minutes late to an appointment you will be charged a Late Cancel Fee for the missed appointment.
